Hotel
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Pickwick Hotel ( 8
There are other hotels within walking distance of the Mint. The Parc 55 is another, more upscale option.
Parking
Parking is available across the street at the 5th and Mission Garage. Parking is roughly $3 per hour, with a max of $32 per day. Parking is also available at the Pickwick Hotel, across the street for the same rate.
BART from the Airport
Taking BART from/to the SF airport is an easy and economical alternative to a cab. The cost is $8.10 compared to approx. $30 for a cab ride (each way). Exit at the Powell Street Station which leaves you ½ block from the Old SF Mint.
Food/Beverage
Food and beverages will be offered for lunch during the show. More details to follow.
There are many restaurants within walking distance from the Old Mint. Please let me know if you would like some restaurant recommendations.
